Hydrogen Embrittlement

When you plate items you induce hydrogen into the base material, that hydrogen needs to be baked back out. We use a creep tester to see if your process is successfully baking out the hydrogen. The creep tester pulls on a sample for 200 hours at 75% of the samples tensile strength.
